Bloody Fairy

Genre: Fairy tale with twist

Marigold was a lovely fairy, but she lived in constant fear. Once a year Drahmus visited her realm to feast, and if his favorite desert was not ready, he’d munch on her youngsters instead.

For ages Marigold toiled every night on earth, clambering from house to house, collecting from children the key ingredient to Drahmus’ dish. Kids were happy to oblige at first, but then greed struck their hearts, and supplies shrank.

With coin Marigold started to trade, and the kids were happy again, leaving the goods under their pillows for Marigold to fetch. But as coins grew worthless with time, the story of Marigold withered, and kids forgot their part of the deal.

Drahmus’ feast approached, and Marigold was out for blood. She kissed her youngsters in the fairy world goodbye, and armed herself with all the jagged tools she could put together. If kids on earth still failed to honor their pact, she’d harvest their teeth herself, ripping them out of their little mouths.
